Data Analysis Strategies for Qualitative Research

Data Analysis Strategies for Qualitative Research

WEEK 8 TEMPLATE IS POSTED IN THE FILE THAT IS HOW THE PAPER SHOULD BE OUTLINED!!!

WEEK 3 DISCUSSION IS ALSO IN THE UPLOADED FROM THAT IS WHERE THE WORK WILL COME FROM!!!

                                                                  INSTRUCTIONS!!

This is the third of the four assignments that will help you prepare for writing qualitative research proposals. For this assignment, you will write a paper that identifies a data analysis strategy and process for each of the two selected methodological approaches you analyzed in the Week 3 discussion. The data analysis strategy and process you identify need to align with the methodological approach. In this paper, you will explain why the data analysis needs to align with the methodological approach, and why both the data collection process and the methodological approach need to align with the research question. You will use the same subject, research topic, research theory, and data collection plan in the all assignments in this course.

  • Describe the process of data analysis for the first selected methodological approach for conducting qualitative research (1–2 paragraphs).
  • Describe the process of data analysis for the second selected methodological approach for conducting qualitative research (1–2 paragraphs).
  • Support your assignment with appropriate academic sources and include both citations and references in current APA format. Use 3–5 scholarly resources published with the past three years by recognized academic sources.

Two Methodological Approaches  Ethnography and grounded theory are two different kinds of qualitative approaches. Both have specific features and specific contexts where they would be most applicable. Compare and Contrast Approaches Brewer (2000) explained Ethnography as a complicated research study approach that includes living within and communicating carefully with a specific society or social team to acquire understanding into their ideas, habits, and methods. The analyzer are typically those that live in the location of the research study for comprehensive time where they perform their daily tasks. For that reason, they acquire a large quantity of useful information consequently right below the bottom line is socially uderstood circumstances and the exploration of common design of habits in a certain neighborhood. With Ethnography analyzers can depict the intricacy of social habits, concetrating on their personality within their ecosystem, and provide outlined and abundant narratives of mutality. Ground theory on the other hand as spotlighted by Creswell (2023) concentrates on producing concepts from information methodically obtained with monitoring and meetings. Apart from Ethnography grounded theory does not have a tendency to create concept ahead of time, however the evaluated information can cause different concepts. Analyzers swivel on a constant factual contrast hint by hint and grouping the information to subject the propensities and ideas. Grounded theory is useful particularly concerning fairly unfamiliar locations or events providing a controlled illustration of what is occurring. It allows the advancement of new academic understandings that is approved by appropriate observed proof. Subject of Qualitative research Ethnography and grounded theory aim to acquire understanding into social development procedures however vary in information organized techniques and evaluation. Ethnography concentrates on profound fixation and an alternative outlook compared with Grounded theory which targets methodical information evaluation for the theory group. Selecting in between them is a situation of the researchers objective and goals, in advance which situation of utlizing Ethnography is recommended if the analyzer is looking for a realistic social atmosphere and from a grounded theory point of view. If the analyzer has anticipated the development of a grounded theory upon factual information. Ethnography is based upon the information scholar attention in the area maintained by methodical compiling and analysis of monitorings. The technique of information evaluation in grounded theory is classified into methodical compiling and abstraction concept from factual information   References Brewer, J. D. (2000). Ethnography.
